Attitude talk

Hi today team 5 had this talk with Jannah. Jannah is this lady from this programme called attitude she came to talked to us about friend factors and the different types of friends different ways to make friends the myths of friends and the way you can lose friends and I'm going all the things she told us.

The different types of friends are Girl girl friends Guy guy friends and Girl Guy friends and the different ways to lose your friends by smothering them bullying them showing off and Mean humor people also do a whole bunch of other stuff to lose their friends.

Height (Cm) vs Width (Cm)

This is a Scatter plot chart of our class with everybody's height and width and a whole bunch of people are almost the same height and same width. I made this chart with the google sheets.

This is my chart that I did and these are the movies choice's my group did and the majority of people chose Aqua man and Conjuring 2 and I think we just have to have a another vote for either Aqua man or Conjuring 2 and we made this graph with google sheet.

Under the waves

We had to read the questions then find out what the story was asking us to show our working out and to give an answer and these are my answers and working out. I learnt to Multiply Divide and fractions.

Similarites

Another follow up task I had to do for the same story King Street Bridge and the doll's house  I had to compare the differences between the two stories and find their similarities between the two stories also.

King street bridge

This is the follow up the task I had to do for a most recent book I've read is King Street Bridge and its about a Maori girl who keeps getting bulled by to other Maori girls but the other Maori girls call her a wannabe Maori but she ends up becoming rivalish friends.

1st question is who is someone and why she follows the main character all the time.

2nd question is about the conflict between people.

3rd question is about why the main character feels unwell.

The Doll's House

This is my follow up on my the recent story I read and it was called the doll's house and I finished the follow up questions. Then we read King Street Bridge and we had to compare the two books.

We made a tally chart with options for the year 8 camp and my group chose movies we split into 2 groups so we could get through the class faster we did the tally's alright but we have to do better communicating with our team

The "Key Words" Reflection

In Control Tech learned to surf the web properly by using quotation marks or we didn't use quotation marks and we used our web res draft and this is one the things i searched the web for ("images" + "cartoon" + “technician” +"animal characters") and i got 18, 300 hits on it and the more words you put in the least hits you get but the the least words you put in the more hits you get but we are trying to reduce the number of hits and we put the + sign in is to separate the words from each other so that we don't search the web for a site with both the both words in and I learnt all this stuff in Control Tech at Tamaki College.

In this class we used the web to find pictures for our future jobs or careers and this is one of them that I found for my future career or job.

Polyfest Schools Day

Polyfest schools Day has heaps of fun things to do like cool Activities and after lunch we can go and go food shopping or toy shopping you can also go and see cultural performances if your school is lucky. There are also job opportunities and offers for other stuff.

Polyfest is one of the greatest events in New Zealand it has Cultural Performances so people who perform are from around all of New Zealand Pacific people And Maori people mostly perform at Polyfest, but their are other cultural performances as well!

Why we need school

School is important for people who want to learn because if you don't learn and socialise then might have some sort of brain disorder. Here's 3 reasons why you should go to school.

1.School is a place for learning and other things like how to get a job and all that stuff. School is we you learn Literacy and Numeracy art also.

Today we had to measure the height and the width of our group to see how much sleeping bags we need to make for the year 8 camp.

Mrs Stone bought the 80g packets of raro. Each packet makes 5 200ml servings. How many packets should she have bought for the class? 7 packets. 7 x 5 =35.

We found out that 3 teaspoons can make 1 cup of raro. 15 teaspoons make 1 litre.
